ABOUT SUELYN
Dr Suelyn Lai-Smith is a highly skilled female obstetrician and gynaecologist who practices on the North Shore of Sydney at Sydney Adventist Hospital (The SAN).
Prior to studying medicine, Dr Lai-Smith worked as a psychologist, and subsequently has a caring, integrative and holistic approach to her patient care.
She is confident managing both high and low risk pregnancies and engages collaboratively with her patients to involve them in all aspects of their care.
She trained at two of the busiest tertiary hospitals in Sydney and undertook a surgical fellowship year in advanced laparoscopic and open procedures in gynaecological oncology.
This advanced training means that she can offer additional surgical options and advanced laparoscopic surgery to her patients.
She specifically designed her ultra-luxe rooms at the Parkway SAN Clinic to ensure your journey with her is calm and seamless. The onsite parking, facilities and services ensure your journey is easy, even before entering the luxurious rooms.
Dr Lai-Smith likes to ensure that she is always there for her patients and never rushed, so she limits her obstetric bookings, and only works at one location (The SAN).
Her approach to care is bespoke, individualistic and patient-centred. For this reason, she does not work in a group practice with other obstetricians and will always be on call for your delivery.
